Broker Biography

Introduction

Hi, I’m the founder of Atlantic M & A Business Brokers, and I’ve spent over 20 years helping entrepreneurs and business owners navigate complex transitions with clarity, confidence, and results.

As a long-standing member of the Law Society of New Brunswick, I bring a strong legal foundation to every engagement — but my approach is far from traditional. I work with an entrepreneurial mindset, focusing on practical solutions, smooth deal execution, and creating real value for my clients, whether they're buying, selling, or planning the next chapter in their business journey.

Throughout my career, I’ve led transactions ranging from family-owned business successions to multi-party deals exceeding $20 million in value. I’ve advised manufacturers, service companies, retailers, professional practices, and more. While I have experience with larger transactions, I genuinely enjoy working with small business owners — particularly those preparing for succession. There’s something incredibly rewarding about helping someone turn years of hard work into a successful and meaningful exit.

To ensure I bring the highest level of expertise to my clients, I’ve invested in continuous professional development over the years, including:

Certification Program in Negotiation from Harvard Law School
Training in Arbitration through the ADR Institute of Canada
Completion of the Certified Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor (CM&AA) program through the Alliance of M&A Advisors
Certifed in Income Tax Practice from the University of Toronto
In addition to running Atlantic M&A, I’m a partner firm of The Business Succession Group, giving my clients access to a national network of professionals dedicated to ownership transitions and long-term planning. I work with clients across Canada and the Caribbean, offering valuation services, exit strategies, buyer and seller representation, and legal and deal structuring expertise.

If you’re looking for someone who combines legal know-how with entrepreneurial energy and who truly understands the emotional and financial weight of buying or selling a business — let’s talk. Whether your business is worth $500,000 or $15 million, I’d be happy to explore how we can make your next move a success.
