Founder Todd Jackson has been a business lawyer doing closings for other business brokers for more than 2 decades. Over time he began to believe the standard way of doing things was not in the best interest of the clients. Having represented business owners in every aspect of business from inception to closings, he was very aware of the potential dangers business owners face as they try to be successful. But more importantly, he also saw how difficult it is for business owners to get their businesses ready to sell when they needed to do so. Over and over again he heard from business owners that their business brokers failed to communicate consistently, did not have a full understanding of their business, and didn't have the experience to anticipate what was required to bring their transaction to a successful closing. He decided he wanted to have a more client-centric process that provided better communication and transparency. Every deal has hiccups, but because of his professional oversight, he now can help mitigate risks and overcome impasses through creativity and sheer negotiation skills.
