About the Company
FairExit Advisors is a boutique exit advisory firm that goes beyond a typical business brokerage. We help business owners prepare for their transition in the years leading up to an exit, then guide them through the sale when the time is right.
We believe each owner has a unique personality and individual goals, and every business operates differently, so our approach has to be different too. We stand with the owner, offering guidance as they explore the many ways to exit until they confidently decide what's best for them, their business, and their family.
At our core, we believe that putting the owner's best interests first builds trust, providing reliable guidance adds value, and clear, open, honest communication proves our character.
Headquartered in Cornelius, North Carolina, we work with business owners and founders nationwide, typically with companies valued between $3 million and $20 million.
Broker Biography
Introduction
I'm Justin Sandridge, founder of FairExit Advisors and a Master Certified Business Intermediary and Certified Exit Planning Advisor. I work with business owners across the nation to help them exit with confidence, knowing they made the right decision, at the right time, on their terms.
Before advising owners, I sat in your seat. I started my first company in 2009, grew it over six years, and sold it in 2015. I later acquired a second business, ran it, and successfully exited that one too. That experience, on both the startup and acquisition sides, gives me a grounded, practical understanding of what owners actually go through in a sale.
It also taught me why I started FairExit. According to the Exit Planning Institute, 75% of business owners deeply regret selling within a year of the sale. Most of that regret traces to timing and preparation, not price. So I start early, help owners explore every path, and stand with them until they choose the exit that's right for them, their business, and their family. Sometimes that means going to market now. Sometimes it means waiting and building value first. Either way, the decision is yours, made clearly and confidently.
Services Provided
Selling your business is one of the biggest decisions of your life, and it deserves more than a simple listing. My services are built around what matters most to business owners:
Exit Planning & Value Preparation
The best exits are planned years in advance. I work with your CPA, attorney, and financial advisor to build transferable value before your business ever goes to market.
Business Valuations
Knowing what your business is worth and what a buyer will actually pay for it is the foundation of every sound decision. I provide detailed, data-backed valuations you can use with confidence.
Confidential Sale Process
When you're ready, I manage the full sale: confidential marketing, buyer qualification, SBA-financed deal structuring, negotiation, and closing management, from the first conversation to the closing table.
