Introduction

Derik Polay has been a leading business broker and M&A advisor in Central Texas since 2015 at CGK. His transactional expertise is unmatched. In addition, he has over 10 years of experience in high finance with trading and analysis of global distressed markets and over 7 years of experience in upper management roles in various verticals of small and medium-sized businesses (SMB’s). Prior to his current role, Mr. Polay served as Managing Director of IFI Capital where he focused on distressed investments trading and other special situations. Prior to IFI, he was Senior Vice President at Fulcrum Capital and APS Capital where he was instrumental in building the business and was the top producer. Prior to beginning his career in high finance, Mr. Polay worked at SMB’s in leading management roles and on a consulting basis to increase productivity, quality, and bottom line enhancement throughout various verticals such manufacturing of tier one automotive products,telecommunications products and other technological applications. Mr. Polay is a graduate of DePaul University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance.
