Shaawn Cannon

Introduction

After more than 20 years as a successful industrial manufacturing executive, Shaawn joined Dickson Commercial Group as a Business Broker. Throughout his career as a manufacturing executive, Shaawn was intimately involved in and lead numerous M&A transactions, as both buyer and seller. After selling his company, Globe Turbocharger Specialties, Inc., he went to work for a publicly traded company, managing their operations for the Americas.

Following his departure from manufacturing, Shaawn endeavored to buy another local small business in Northern Nevada. In his search for new business opportunities, Shaawn recognized a need for a business broker that had the experiences and understanding of small business owners buying or selling a business for the first time, but also of institutional buyers and sellers. With experience owning and operating a small/medium business as well as working for publicly traded companies, Shaawn has the unique experience and background to understand the complexities of
buying and selling businesses and working with “mom and pop” (main street) businesses as well as “Wall Street” executives and everyone in between.
