Matthew Wilson is the President & CEO of Gateway Property Services, a second generation commercial real estate, investment and development company that serves the Middle Tennessee Area. Matthew is native Nashvillian and attended Brentwood Academy. He holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from Belmont University and an M.B.A. from Belmont’s Massey Business School. He has also pursued studies in real estate investment at New York University.

Matthew uses his education and experience to assist small to medium size businesses acquire and lease commercial property or sell their property. Matthew also adds great value to businesses for sale with real estate as a major part of its value. He can consult on financials and advise the best way to market and sell all assets, whether the real estate is split up from the business sale or not. Lastly, Matthew can offer his services on an hourly basis to consult business buyers on the value of the commercial real estate portion and/or the business.

In addition to his business contributions, Matthew is very active in the Nashville community. He enjoys taking his “real world” business lessons back to the classroom as an adjunct professor at Belmont University’s Business School. He is an alumnus of Young Leaders Council and he has been an active community volunteer for local organizations such as Junior Achievement, Monroe Carell Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, and Big Brothers of Nashville. As a passionate advocate for affordable housing opportunities, Matthew has been very involved with Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity and served as the 2010 Board Chair. Matthew is also a member of Downtown Nashville Rotary.

Matthew is married and has one daughter. They are active members at Christ the King. And in his spare time, Matthew is an avid runner, completing several marathons.
