For the past decade, Dave has also been a Senior Business Broker who has helped numerous clients in multiple capacities. Whether it be developing business exit strategies, performing valuations, or managing the sales of a client’s enterprise through to closing, Dave brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that is invaluable in industry.
Scott Mollenkopf, MBA, Senior Business Broker, NC Broker (#293125) is the former president and CEO for a successful and market leading manufacturing business with multi-state operations and national sales. He also owns and manages commercial real estate properties through a separate company. He has served as a board of director for several companies and currently is a board member, since 2012, for the premier provider of commercial HVAC and IT Infrastructure Power and Cooling solutions in the Carolinas. In addition to the eight years as president, Scott’s experience includes 12 years as a CFO and an additional 10 years in various financial, marketing and sales roles for various companies across multiple industries, including an overseas assignment.
His areas of expertise and accomplishments include: mergers and acquisitions, both the successful and failed start up of multiple businesses, expansion of an existing business into new markets, commercial real estate transactions as both seller and buyer, financing relationships and capital structuring and leading and managing the design and construction of facilities. Scott also gained experience managing and leading companies during explosive growth periods of over 500% and in the recent unprecedented recessionary market. Finally, direct industry experience includes manufacturing, distribution, trucking and retail for both consumer and business to business markets
