I am a CPA and Business Broker with Murphy Business Sales, providing business owners with insightful advice and unwavering support through the transaction process. With over 18 years of experience in auditing, accounting, and financial reporting within companies ranging from $100 million to $18 billion, I've developed a deep analytical rigor and a comprehensive grasp of financial performance across various scales. Crucially, I've sat on both sides of the transaction table, having personally navigated the complexities of buying a business multiple times and successfully selling one of my own ventures.

As the Co-founder and CFO of a small business, for nine years, I intimately understand the dedication, hard work, and strategic decision-making required to build and sustain a thriving business. I've witnessed growth firsthand and appreciate the emotional investment owners have in their companies. Furthermore, I'm incredibly fortunate to share my life with my amazing fiancée, who founded Love Health DPC in Glenside, PA. I actively support her as a board advisor, and we collaborate on innovative employer health plans through my company, Verity Advisory, LLC, blending our professional experiences.

My understanding of business extends beyond the financial statements. Growing up spending summers in the demanding environment of fabrication and installation, wearing a hard hat and steel-toed boots, I gained a practical, operational understanding of construction and mechanical processes. My passion for building continues through DIY house projects, woodworking, and creative tinkering.

I'm genuinely energized by meeting new people and learning about their unique journeys. My financial acumen is complemented by a natural curiosity to delve into data, understand business metrics, and identify the key drivers of success. I strive to build meaningful connections and lasting relationships based on trust and mutual respect.

My diverse industry experience spans manufacturing, retail, chemical manufacturing, landscaping and lawn care, vegetation management, food production (including hog farms and packaged meats), and HVAC supplies. My intellectual curiosity and continuous learning approach mean I'm eager to understand and support businesses across any sector.

I hold a BSBA in Accounting (Cum Laude) from Longwood University and completed master-level Finance & Real Estate courses at Virginia Commonwealth University. I'm a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and value the relationships I build in both my professional and personal life, with my fiancée and my four wonderful children being my greatest treasures. My fiancée and I love to stay active and explore together, whether through sports, outdoor adventures, or traveling to experience new cultures and historical sites.
