Todd is the owner and principal broker of Nashville’s National Restaurant Properties division. He has spent over 10 years working in the restaurant industry and began his career as a restaurant owner in the Petty-McGlamery restaurant group. As a managing member, he handled the lease negotiations, development, and operations of 5 different restaurant business ventures, which included two Irish pubs, a sports bar and grille, a martini bar, and a German restaurant. Todd has also consulted restaurateurs and authored a how-to-book, Rapid-Fire Opening: Steps to Get Up and Running for aspiring owners.
In 2012, Todd opened the Nashville division of National Restaurant Properties, which has over 45 years of experience with brokering restaurant businesses and commercial real estate. He has brokered numerous restaurant businesses including local brands and established national franchises. He also excels at landlord representation and the sale of hospitality related commercial real estate buildings.
Todd’s strengths reside in his knowledge of the restaurant business and commercial real estate market. He provides value to his clients with his in-depth market analysis, negotiations, knowledge of restaurant licenses and insurance, as well as aggressive marketing and networking.
Besides restaurants and commercial real estate, Todd has a passion for the stock market and studying trends in the restaurant sector. He maintains his General Securities Representative Certification after passing the Series 7 exam in 2010. He is a candidate for the CCIM designation. He is a member of the Greater Nashville Hospitality Association and the Tennessee Hospitality Association. He is a graduate of Coastal Carolina University and is married.
