Karen earned her BA in Psychology with a minor in Theater from the University of California in San Diego, and her MBA from San Diego State University with a focus in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Karen worked first as a small business consultant, helping companies launch new products, acquire investment capital, and expand into new markets. She then ran her own fitness and wellness business for 10 years, bouncing between San Diego, Los Angeles, and Orange County during that time. Karen made the transition into residential real estate and acquired her real estate license in 2014, quickly becoming a top performer at Keller Williams in San Diego. Having an understanding of business valuation, experience running her own company, and a love of putting deals together, it was only natural that Karen would join Rick Carlson at Pronova Partners when he began his expansion in 2017. Since joining the company Karen has successfully guided several buyers and sellers to the closing table. Her specializations are in insurance, information technology, software as a service, and of course health and fitness business opportunities.
