About the Company
Sater Advisory is an M&A and exit planning practice focused exclusively on rental industry owners across the United States. Operator-led, confidential, and national.
The work falls into three areas:
Sell. A confidential, end-to-end sale process built around the owner's timeline. Discreet positioning, controlled buyer outreach, and a managed process from preparation through closing.
Buy. Off-market acquisition opportunities for owners looking to grow, combined with SBA lenders who actually close and structure terms that work for both sides.
Value. An honest, defensible opinion of value using current rental industry comparables, plus the specific operational levers that could move that number before you ever go to market.
Every engagement is built around three commitments to the owner: protecting their interests from the earliest stages of planning through closing, only advancing qualified buyers who can actually fund and run the business, and getting the deal structure right and keeping it right through every stage of the process.
The rental industry has too many quiet ways to lose value at the sale: under-positioned listings, premature confidentiality breaks, deposit and seasonality timing missteps, deals that look good on paper but break down during transition. Most of those land in front of an owner long before negotiation begins. Catching them takes someone who has actually run a rental business and worked the deal table from the broker side.
If you own a rental business and are thinking about an exit, whether that is six months or six years out, or you simply want a real number on what your company is worth today, reach out. A confidential, no-obligation conversation is the easiest place to start.

Broker Biography
Introduction
I own and run two businesses in the rental industry: Encore Event Rentals, a regional event rental operation in Shreveport, and Sater Advisory, an M&A practice focused exclusively on rental industry owners across the country.
The rental industry has been my whole career. The Sater family has operated in Shreveport since 1983, originally as a Taylor Rental Center franchise, where I worked nearly every job in the building from washing tent tops as a kid to driving delivery trucks at 16 to managing operations by my twenties. After the University of Texas, I returned home in 2008 to lead the part of the business that remained, the tent and event side, and in 2011 we relaunched it as Encore Event Rentals. I still own and lead Encore today.
Since 2018, alongside running Encore, I have worked as a business broker and M&A advisor, valuing, analyzing, and selling privately held companies. That work has taken me inside hundreds of small businesses, and it is the foundation for what Sater Advisory offers now: an M&A practice for rental industry owners, led by someone who actually runs one. Most advisors learn this industry from a pitch deck. I learned it on the yard, behind the counter, and in the warehouse.
I hold an MBA and earned the Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designations along the way. Louisiana licensed real estate agent.
If you own a rental business and are thinking about an exit, want a real number on what your company is worth today, or are exploring an Encore Event Rentals franchise opportunity, reach out. A confidential, no-obligation conversation is the easiest place to start.
