With more than 35 years in the restaurant and hospitality industry, there isn’t much I haven’t seen, heard, bought, sold or negotiated as an owner and realtor specializing in restaurants, bars, pizza shops and other related businesses. And because I am an owner of a chain of Central Ohio restaurants, I have vast experience in restaurant sites, negotiating leases, building and/or expanding restaurants and building, expanding, owning, operating and closing and selling these multi-faceted businesses.
Throughout my career, I have filled a number of professional roles in the industry. For over 20 years I have been involved with the Ohio Restaurant Association (ORA) and Central Ohio Restaurant Association (CORA) where I served a term as president for both organizations. CORA is an organization that has earned a reputation of integrity and leadership and is recognized as a leading contributor to the economic growth and development of our region.
Currently, I sit on CORA’s Executive Board and am also Chairman of its Political Action Committee. In this role, I work alongside local government officials and departments to ensure those in the restaurant industry have a voice in their community and also have access to information they need to open and maintain a successful establishment.
I have been awarded the National Restaurant Association’s Grassroots Award for assisting others in the industry in developing effective grassroots enterprises and providing access to resources that aided them in meeting professional goals while remaining viable and relevant in an ever-changing economy.
My education, experience and life’s work are in this industry alone; and my brokerage business has been successful for more than six years in the selling of multiple bars, restaurants, buildings and other related sales.
