Introduction

Sanjay Ahuja is a business intermediary and advisor who works with Main Street and Low Mid-Market Business Owners to help them sell, merge, acquire, or scale their businesses. He also helps buyers identify target markets and potential options (i.e. becoming a franchisee or buying an existing business). After spending nearly three decades leading global businesses in Fortune 50 companies, Sanjay has gained deep experience in assessing businesses, and building plans to grow, turnaround, merge, acquire, or exit businesses. He believes in bringing large company ethos – professional integrity, thoroughness, and great customer service – to the business brokerage world and combine this with the flexibility and cost-effectiveness of a small practice to offer clients the best of both worlds. Earlier in his career, Sanjay founded and ran a small computer reseller and systems integration firm.

Sanjay holds an MBA in Finance and Investments from the University of Hull, UK, and is also certified in Strategy Consulting by the Harvard University Extension School. He is a Certified Main Street Business Broker, a Certified Franchise Consultant, and is affiliated with the Sunbelt Business Network, the nation’s largest network of business intermediaries. Sanjay is also a member of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), New England Business Brokers Association (NEBBA), and the International Franchise Professionals Group (IFPG). He believes in lifelong learning and loves to read, play chess, and is a dedicated family man. Sanjay lives in Marlborough, MA with his wife and son.
