About the Company
You built your business the hard way — years of long days, taking real risks, and making decisions no one else had to live with. It's your life's work. When it's time to sell, you need an advisor who treats it that way.
Sweet Spot Business Advisory helps business owners sell well: harvesting the value of what you've built with a strong market price, to a qualified buyer, with your confidentiality protected and your legacy intact.
Most brokers are salespeople. I'm a two-time Private Equity (PE) -backed CFO who has built companies, prepared them for sale, and led them through to strong outcomes — so you get a level of skill and judgment most sellers never have access to. That CFO skill shows up where it matters: pricing your business defensibly so you don't leave money on the table, marketing it confidentially so employees and competitors don't find out, and vetting buyers — including SBA-financed buyers — so you reach the closing table with someone who can actually pay and will steward what you've built.
I work on trust, integrity, foresight, and a "no jerks zone" for everyone at the table. My goal is simple: help you sell your life's work well, and into good hands — capturing the full value of what you've created so you can step into your next chapter with confidence.
If you're thinking about selling — this year or a few years out — let's talk.
Broker Biography
Introduction
I came to this work the long way around — and that's exactly why I'm good at it.
I started as a software developer, building the core product for a startup that grew into a middle-market company. I went to business school, then joined Walmart as a buyer, running categories that generated more than $300M in sales a year and earning Buyer of the Year. At Walmart and Sam's Club, I served as a financial leader and strategist across many business units — leading global investments in technology and real estate, and helping grow Sam's Club's billion-dollar membership business. From there I spent a decade as a CFO — twice — for fast-growing, private-equity-backed companies. In both, I helped lay the financial foundation, strengthen performance, prepare the business for sale, bring in the bankers, and lead the deal through diligence to a strong outcome for the founders.
So when I sit across from an owner who's thinking about selling, I've been on their side of that table. I know what a buyer's diligence team is really looking for. I know where value gets created and where it quietly leaks away. And I know how much of an owner's identity is wrapped up in the thing they built.
That's why I started Sweet Spot Business Advisory. Most business brokers are salespeople first; I'm a CFO and a builder first. I bring the financial judgment of someone who has actually led companies through a sale — not just listed them. My aim is never just to close a deal; it's to help you sell your life's work well — for full value, to the right hands, with your legacy and your people protected.
I work by a few simple rules: trust, integrity, and foresight, and a firm "no jerks zone" for everyone I bring to the table. I'd rather do right by good people and build relationships that last than chase a quick transaction.
When I'm not working a deal, I'm usually building something. I'm a lifelong tinkerer and dot-connector who loves the place where people, ideas, and numbers meet — and I care about seeing good businesses change hands the right way.
If you've poured years into a business and want it handed off with care — whether you're ready now or just starting to think about it — I'd welcome a conversation.
