30+ years’ experience in deal-making, marketing strategy, team building, business development, and sales leadership. Stephen Menges’s UNIQUE- Business Broker skills began as he overcame the major mistakes of a business broker that he hired to sell his own family health club business in 2008. Stephen sold it eventually for $2.4Million, after growing the business to 3500+ members. He joined Transworld in 2015 as a career changer who left a successful 15-year corporate career as an award-winning data sales and banking industry- marketing consultant. As a 10-year veteran with Transworld, Stephen learned the business in S FL at Transworld’s oldest and most productive office. Stephen later successfully opened and operated his own Transworld office in CA for 5 years before returning to the East Coast with family priorities. Stephen’s success as a business broker led him to also work for Transworld’s Corporate headquarters as a Senior Trainer for new business brokers, and as a deal support consultant who helped Transworld office owners in the USA and Internationally overcome deal problems and close more deals. Stephen holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.

30 years of sales and service experience. This included owning my own franchise from 1992-2013 called Heartland Food Products. Responsible for servicing hotels, casinos, colleges, diners with digital waffle machines, waffle/pancake mix, and restaurant equipment. After selling my franchise territories, I worked with the oldest bakery outside Washington D.C. called Clements Pastry. I was responsible for growing the Philadelphia market with product which included weekly deliveries from the bakery. I attended University of Maryland from 1987-1992 and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. Became a life time member of Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity in 1989. Was involved in self improvement training courses from 1994-1999 including Landmark Education and Sandler Sales Training. Experience in public speaking with excellent people skills including a study in Neuro Linguistic Programing, Adept in outside sales, cold calling, territory management, market canvassing. Currently a drummer in 2 local rock jam bands for the past 13 years.

I grew up in Delaware County and attended Cardinal O'Hara High School and LaSalle University where I graduated with a BA in 1989. I have worked 25+ years in the securities industry and insurance industry mostly with Morgan Stanley and Nationwide so I know the business landscape in Philadelphia and its surrounding suburbs very well. I live in Bryn Mawr and am happily married 21 years and have two wonderful children who attend excellent Delaware County schools. I enjoy the game of golf tremendously and am a member at Sandy Run Country Club.in Oreland, Pennsylvania. Finally, I very much enjoy Big 5 basketball and am of course a total fanatical Eagles and Phillies fan!
Doug brings 33 years of Corporate Experience and high level management negotiations experience to the industry.
