The main building is 8x20 with an ADA Bathroom, Shed is approximately 12x20 and is fully foam insulated and cooled. The coffee shop and shed are both backed up with a generac generator system. Our espresso machine is a $15k 3 group Nuova Simonelli Aurelia II Volumetric Espresso Machine. We have multiple grinders (to include backups) in case one goes down. We also have a $10k professionally installed security camera system. Between both the Coffee shop and shed, we have three large air conditioning units, 4 refrigerators, 3 freezers, granite countertops, new cabinets, lots of commercial shelving, 2 commercial microwaves, a bagel toaster, a 2 Airpot commercial Coffee Brewer, and 2 full POS systems one for each window. We also recently added two large murals on both sides of the coffee shop. The sale also includes the large commercial Flyby Coffee sign next to HWY 98. Market Outlook / Competition
Our business is in a prime location on the way to a rapidly expanding Air Force Base on Hwy 98. We are a local specialty/brand-driven concept, not just a commodity coffee shop. We do have competition a few miles down the road, but it has not affected our sales or customer base. In the next 3 to 5 years there will be around 5,000 additional military personnel moving to Panama City to work at Tyndall AFB. Even if we only captured a fraction of the new folks, this would significantly increase sales.
Opportunities for Growth
Growth and expansion opportunities are unlimited. We are only open during the peak hours 6am to 2pm and we do not provide any lunch options. Longer hours and more food options would definitely increase sales. The only reason we have not done this is to ensure a work life balance since we still have 1 school aged child left who is involved in lots of activities.
