Unique business model that customers love. We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No rental agency is open 24 hours (except maybe for rental car operations at an airport). We are willing to accept cash. Established rental agencies do not want cash, but instead often insist on in-house charge accounts or major credit card required in order to rent. The reason that other agencies don't want cash or require major credit cards (not debit cards) or established in-house charge accounts, is because historically the people that will steal equipment are those folks that pay in cash or don't have a Visa card, but we level the playing field by having two satelight GPS tracking devices on each item, one a customer could find with some digging, and another expertly hidden by us to where they would never find it. We leave one the tweeker can find with some moderate digging, and another we doubt could ever be found, and typically behind some welded object. Additionally because we are open 24 hours, there is always somebody watching the movement of equipment and if something starts moving at 3 a.m. and we aren't expecting that, we have someone chasing that asset down in a pick up truck within mins. When renting, we ask the customer if they intend to use the asset at a location different from the one we know of, or the one we delivered to, and if it's not being moved, we add an electronic fence to the jobsite and if an asset leaves that fence late at night unexpectedly we are in immediate pursuit of the bad guy. In 16 years we've never had anyone successfully steal of piece of equipment or a truck.

We have our own internal repair shop which is the game changer for this type of business. We can make repairs quickly and for the lowest cost and with the highest level of quality. We provide other ancillary services that customers value, for example for some of our commercial roofing customers, they no longer have to send their staff to rent a truck. We can deliver their truck directly to their jobsite, park it next to a house getting a roof tear off, and then our staff can actually drive the rented truck to the dump for them, and then we return the truck back to their job site. The customer reimburses us for the cost of dumping.

We don't rent weed eaters, pressure washers or chain saws, with an average rental ticket on those items under $100. We leave that to places like Home Depot who have small engine mechanics on speed dial and have the money to buy all brand new equipment every six months. Instead what we typically rent would be a a non-commercial, non-CDL dump truck, an equipment trailer, and a piece of compact equipment like a Bobcat or a mini excavator with a typical out the door ticket approaching $900/day.

As a practial matter nobody really comes along at 3 a.m. to rent something, but certainly until 7 p.m. thru 11 p.m. we can get really busy. We hold true to our 24 open policy because there is always somebody answering the phone, even if it's our deliver drivers which are often times delivering equipment throughout the night.
