- We are the Aluminum Boat building capitol of the Pacific Northwest here in Southern Oregon. Although there are many builders we are among only a few production builders building an 'open' boat platform. 95% of the entire fishing boat industry is out of an open boat, it is the preferred method of fishing Salmon and Steelhead, in lakes, rivers and the bays or headwaters at the ocean.
We are not aware of any manufacturer other than us whose priority is only open boats, also, the only exclusive open boat producer that build everything they offer in house. From seats and seat construction to canvas tops, mooring covers and towing bras. Fishhook doesn't rely on third party contractors thus driving the cost higher and higher. We control our own products in house exclusively.
