- We are the only retail bakery in Nevada County that focuses primarily on cookies and have both retail and wholesale customers. There are a few other bakeries in the county, but most of our products are unique to our business. We ship orders all over the United States. We regularly participate in downtown events which draw large crowds both local and visitors from outside of the area. We are a well known and respected business in our town, and have an excellent reputation for amazing and consistently high quality products and a strong community presence.
- Opportunities for Growth
- Gold Rush Cookie Company began in 2020 under cottage food permit, servicing local farmer's markets for nearly 5 years. With growth we expanded our menu and moved into our first commercial bakery in Nevada City for 2 years. After outgrowing that space and demand, we found our permanent home in downtown Grass Valley. This allowed us to better serve the community and further expand our menu selections.
There is tremendous growth potential under the right stewardship with the new owners, which may include expanding the wholesale market, participating in more community events, partnering with other local businesses (ex. local ice cream vendors) to offer ice cream or other products on our menu.
