- There is competition but not many who have our setup and expertise. We participate in Duke Energy Retail Rebate Program and there contractor programs as we are Licensed Electrical Contractors. We also purchase direct from manufactures and local lighting reps in the Industry. We also use a very affordable and easy to use lighting software to show customers rebates and energy savings. Online QuickBooks is used for all accounting and most customers pay through QuickBooks and ACH payments.
- Opportunities for Growth
- Currently we do no marketing. No email marketing. No cold calling. No feet on the streets. Nothing! I currently only answer calls from existing or past customers. The website needs to be updated and the phone lines answered. This area as you know has exploded and continues to explode. Our Salesman only follows up with existing customers, Duke Energy Inquires and referrals from Manufacturers Reps. With the great pricing we have on our products you could also do very well with online sales. I have not marketed the supply side of the business at all!
