I was more than pleased with my experience with XXXX Transmission. The dealer had my car for eight days tried to sell me a new transmission at the price of $10,000.00. When I spoke to XXX he said the code that I gave him had nothing to do with a mechanical problem with the transmission. It explained that it was an electrical issue with the Transmission Control Module. When I explained that to the dealer they said they did not have a way to test them that they just replace them. So after 8 day and not being able to get back home to ******* I took the car from the dealer who charged me $219.00 for diagnostics. I went directly to XXX Transmission and saw XXX . He called me the next morning my car was set. He reprogrammed the TCM to drive it a couple days before going back to ******. It drove perfectly.
After two days we headed back to ******* with no issues. Thanks to XXX's honesty and integrity along with his knowledge he saved us thousands of dollars. He only charged us $159.00 for the reprogramming of the TCM. The dealers claim to be the experts. In my opinion the expert is XXX Transmission. Thank you XXX for your honesty and expert knowledge. I would highly recommend XXX Transmission to anyone needing Auto repairs or transmission problems.
