Business Description
Beef, Lamb, Goat, Pork USDA meat processing facility, locally owned and operated, providing custom meat processing of local, sustainably raised high quality beef, lamb, goat, swine and other locally sourced foods. A group of local ranchers joined together to completely rebuild a USDA approved processing facility to process the finest beef in the country. This plant can process from the hoof to the final display ready vacuum sealed package. USDA inspected meat can be resold in grocery stores and restaurants - anywhere in the country. The business is located on 22 acres of prime land, in the County, with city water and sewer, access to the major highway, highway exposure for future expansion and possible retail store, corrals, water, barn space for inclement weather, steel corrals. This is a turn-key facility, ready to go to the next level.

Facilities & Assets
The 4,568 sq ft building on 22 prime acres was originally built for local swine processing. It was purchased and remodeled and updated with all new electric service, cooling systems, new equipment, scrubbed, painted and inspected by the USDA and State inspectors prior to opening in 2020. The facility includes corrals with water and feed troughs for overnight storage, a sorting barn, alleyway into the facility, dispatch table, initial breakdown area, overhead trolley system, processing and packaging area, aging cooler, storage cooler, quick freeze.
Market Outlook / Competition
No real competition because this is one of only three USDA meat processing plants in the State - all of which are hundreds of miles away from one another. There are other small processing plants scattered around the state, but without USDA inspection, the meat cannot be re-sold in grocery stores or restaurants.
Opportunities for Growth
Great potential for growth. The business needs new management that is ready to invest in additional employees to take it to the next level.
