The Village Grill is a very special and unique restaurant. It is commonly viewed as the best restaurant in a very large area. It compares favorably with the pricier ones in Greenville. Please carefully review the website. It serves quality ingredients, notable recipes, regular additional special choices, cooked to perfection, and impeccable service. It is a destination restaurant. Most of the dinner customers are from Greenwood and beyond. There is a large, dedicated, loyal and recurring customer base. Locals for lunch, but it is a special destination restaurant for dinner. The customer base loves the place. Many customers come back week after week for the same favorite. I personally frequently get the Rotisserie Chicken or Ribs. My wife loves their Salmon and says nobody makes a Quesadilla as well. She compares them all to no avail.

Fortuitously, we lived nearby and coincidentally, I now happen to be recently engaged to help transition this special Village Grill to a new owner. I, as other customers were distraught when we heard the Village Grill had closed abruptly. Seller had to close on June 30, 2025. My objective is to do all that is possible to reopen the Village Grill with a new owner that wants to reopen and serve those of us customers that want to preserve this heirloom in our community.

Market Outlook / Competition
Greenville/Simpsonville is 60-80 minutes away. They have a few non-chain comparable restaurants. There are only 3 upscale broad menu non-chain restaurants in Greenwood that are picking up the slack. One seems to be inordinately busy. The Village Grill reopening would take back that business.
