This unique firm serves the rapidly growing market for customized emergency safety training programs and products across a broad range of public and private sectors. It is a home-based business, so is relocatable. The key employee is the owner. The business employs several independent contractor instructors.
CPR/AED and First Aid training generates about half of its revenues. The balance comes from five other specialty programs they offer and sales or rentals of related products.
Certification training is offered for the many different types of first responders, for children and teens, and even for training professionals in Tactical Casualty Care (TCC). The company’s copyrighted training programs are the best in the field. The company is stable, simple, relocatable and recession-proof.
The owner is not quite ready to retire but would be happy to do training for a new owner, either safety training for the firm’s regular clients, or training of other instructors so that the company can further expand.
The company has contract clients locally, statewide and throughout the western U.S., but sales, rentals and licensing opportunities in the many worksite-specific fields that this firm covers offer new owner exciting opportunities to grow the company to many times its current size.

- Home Based:
Home-Based Business. Small office is all that's needed. Inventory is materials and supplies. The expensive inventory items are AEDs for sale and for rental. These require very little storage space.
There are a few “competitors,” but none with the company’s depth of experience and copyrighted teaching materials. The largest competitors are two established national non-profits that are not sensitive to the market changes. The demand is soaring. Large national non-profit competitors are not responding well. There is an opportunity for this private firm to dive in and meet the demand.
Growth & Expansion:
The business has been stable for years, earning the profits that gave the current owner no motive to expand the business. But the demand is now increasing rapidly, and this owner of 30 years really can’t keep up. The current owner is eager to stay on board as an independent contractor instructor himself, of as a recruiter and trainer of other independent contractor instructors.
