Our website searches well, operates well and is responsible for the majority of our business. It could use a fresh face, however. It's been a couple yeas. - Market Outlook / Competition
- Albuquerque is a growing market. CPR certification is a requirement for many industries, medical & non-medical. Our students are doctors, nurses, dental professionals, school bus drivers, massage therapists, construction workers and tattoo artists. We have competitors, but they often don't last very long. We consistently hear from students that the training experience we provide is better than any other CPR class they have attended. Word of mouth works for us. The business has not been actively marketed and will benefit from a more active media presence.
- Opportunities for Growth
- Our web presence is good, but we do not solicit group training sessions, which can be a major income source. An active effort towards employers in key industries will yield high-margin contracts. CPR certifications must be renewed annually or biennially and the number of occupations requiring certification is growing. On the downside, obstacles to entry are small, but large enough to deter folks from just trying to do some training on the side.
