This is an established and growing laundromat located in N Portland. The store renovated in modernized in 2023. 26 brand new washers were retooled including 4 pocket dryers. The store has 30 washers and 15 stack (30 pockets) dryers. Machines have card readers installed allowing for card/mobile app or traditional coin payment. About 2k square feet is the laundromat side with the other 1k SF being the folding area.
The store's main focus has been building and scaling the pick up and delivery business. Our store has a full pick up and delivery business built that accounts for a bulk of the gross revenue and continues to grow.
Due to changes in our family we are needing to let go of the laundromat but was not the intention when taking over. Our store has very good culture within our employed team as we have pride in ownership for this store. We are looking for a new operator who is looking to continue running the store this way as well as seeing the growth opportunity the store offers on the self serve side of the business
The store is in great condition since only being remodeled in 2023 but with the focus being so much on our pick up/delivery this aspect has been somewhat neglected. A great new owner/operator for this store is going to be those who can put the emphasis here and grow the self service revenue. Our marketing/online presence has had a little bit above minimal effort which attributes to low self serve revenue being generated.
Current lease is about to expire and new lease would need to be established with building owner. They are aware of the ownership changing.
