Business Description
See attachment for more information.
Established private psychology practice in the Greater Toronto Area. Over fifteen years of operation, an entrenched referral network, and a steady waitlist. Annual revenue in the seven-figure range with strong margins.
The practice runs on an associate model. A team of contract clinicians bills on a percentage of their own work. Owners hold autonomous C.Psych designation and supervise the clinical bench. Several supervised associates are on path to their own autonomous registration in the near term, so the supervisory bench replenishes from inside.
Revenue mix is weighted toward psychological assessments, with therapy as a secondary line. Referrals come to the brand, not to individual clinicians. Family doctors, pediatricians, school boards, and word-of-mouth families built the referral base over many years. The waitlist is active.
A buyer steps into revenue from day one. Starting an equivalent practice from scratch typically loses money in year one, takes three to four years to hit meaningful revenue, and the better part of a decade to build a comparable referral base.
Note for non-clinician buyers: Ontario requires a C.Psych in the supervisory chain. The deal is structured to handle this. Owners stay on for an extended post-close transition at fair market wage. One owner remains contractually committed beyond that window to supervise a buyer-approved C.Psych candidate. The supervised associates registering during the transition runway provide an internal pipeline.
Growth levers include unused evening and weekend capacity, broader service-line expansion, public-sector preferred-provider work that has been declined to date, throughput optimization, and reactivated marketing. Demand is not the constraint.
Identity, location, and brand are gated. Full CIM available after NDA execution and seller qualification.

Fully equipped clinic with treatment rooms, dedicated assessment space, and admin offices. Capacity for additional clinicians during evening and weekend hours. Furniture, fixtures, and a complete psychological test kit battery convey with the sale. Practice management, billing, intake, and supervision systems are established and running. Lease in place. No real estate in the asking price.
Market Outlook / Competition
Private-pay and benefits-covered psychology is among the fastest-growing segments of mental health services in Canada. Public health coverage does not extend to registered psychologists in Ontario, so demand for licensed psychology services routes to private practice. The clinic operates in an affluent catchment with deep school, pediatric, and family physician referral networks. Direct local competitors are smaller solo or boutique practices. The active waitlist signals demand outpaces capacity. The constraint is clinician hours, not patient demand.
Opportunities for Growth
Unused evening and weekend capacity in the existing footprint. Broader service-line expansion available within current licensing. Public-sector preferred-provider work where the practice is already approved but has declined volume for administrative reasons. Throughput optimization. Reactivated marketing across professional referrer outreach and digital channels.
