The owners started the company after their own DIY wedding, and from that time have grown the business into the go-to company in Columbus for chiavari chairs. We believe (and our customer loyalty represents) that our price point, inventory quality, and customer service are what differentiate us from the larger rental companies. The profile of our typical client is a cost-conscious couple that's having an otherwise high-dollar wedding. We are selling for personal reasons - mainly that I took a fulltime role with my family's real estate business this year, and with a third child on the way in 2026 we cannot give our full time and attention to our beloved small business going forward. We are the leading low-cost provider of chiavari chairs in Columbus, OH. We have built a sterling reputation, with only 5-star ratings on The Knot and Google. We get ~50% of our business via referrals from wedding planners and venues, including from the highest demand and most expensive venues in Columbus (the Statehouse, Museum of Art, Conservatory, etc). There is no competition at our price point. Larger companies (Event Source, Lasting Impressions) charge double. We do 250-300 events per year (with capacity to do more without adding new inventory)
Opportunities for Growth
There is a ton of opportunity for growth, mainly from product expansion. We started our company by specializing in a single product(chiavari chairs). The opportunity to cross-sell other items and services for the 250-300 events we already service annually is enormous.
