Serving Stowe since 1968, Edelweiss Mountain Deli in its current iteration has successfully repositioned itself as an authentic advocate for the small town Vermont experience, the community of Stowe, our local farmers and producers, and our customers. It also enjoys a reputation within the competitive skiing world as the “official headquarters of the ski world when in Stowe.”

From a quality perspective, Edelweiss was consistently recognized from 2019 - 2025 as a Vermont Fresh Network “Gold Barn” member, one of 57 members statewide who spent at least 35% of annual food budget with local partners on local food and products. While Vermont Fresh Network went on hiatus in 2025, Edelweiss continues to far exceed the Gold Barn criteria in its work to both advocate for and support local partners, be they farmers or producers, and bring the exceptional quality inherent in Vermont local to our customer experience.
