But where other products either are on a short electrical tether or cause deep tissue injury upon impact, we fly straight and true to targets exceeding one hundred feet but pancake on impact. After extensive product testing for many years in laboratories and field settings, our leader literally "took one for the team" and decided he should be the first human live test. If it worked on him, he thought it would work to help subdue criminals. There is a Youtube video you can watch of this demo. The bottom line is that our product worked even better than we could have predicted. We stand both "behind our product" with excellent quality and "in front of our product". Our product is also very cost effective. We can produce the product with low overhead and low component costs relative to the sales price. The business is already established with sales and a small manufacturing/assembly line in Wyoming. But it is highly mobile. With nationwide sales, the business could be easily physically relocated to your town.
We decided to make our business part-time and are now at a point in our lives where we have other primary focuses. Our technology is commercialized and proven. - Five partners own the business entity "Integrity Ballistics". We are interested in selling the entire business. Alternatively, we could entertain an asset sale. The business assets include the name, intellectual property (a patent and proprietary processes), physical inventory, business plan, customer database, and the customized equipment used to assemble the less lethal product. We do not expect (and it is not necessary) that the business stay in eastern Wyoming. It could easily be relocated and set up anywhere in the U.S.
- Market Outlook / Competition
- The less lethal ammunition business in the United States is a $1 billion market size. It is certainly not the largest type of industry in America but it is full of opportunity. There are only a handful of large players currently in the market and they do well. We sell our product to police departments, sheriffs, prisons/corrections agencies, wildlife agencies, zoos, and private individuals.
- Opportunities for Growth
- There are several compelling growth opportunities. Our best customer is a State prison. Prisons must use "less lethal" means for breaking up prison yard fights or inmate cell extraction. Commonly the State prisons use products such as pepper spray. Ours is far superior. A concerted marketing effort to the prisons which house two million individuals has vast potential. The second compelling opportunity which is exciting would be to design and manufacture a sleek looking 12 gauge handgun to fire our products for personal home protection.
