Business Description
Profitable entertainment brick and mortar business for sale. We closed out 2025 with right at $300k topline sales. Of that we are running about 25% net profit margin (EBITA) for a bottomline profit of $75k. Its not a fully absentee business as it currently is setup. A new owner could make a few changes and make it completely absentee. I currently spend 2-5hrs per week doing things like admin (payroll, etc) and dropping off inventory, and misc tasks. For inventory runs, I typically order AMZ to my house and drop off at shop due to our operating hours. I make runs to Costco. The only thing that takes more than minimal time is sourcing my breakable inventory. I have agreements with a big thrift store and estate sales companies. I just have to make a run to pickup things and drop it off at the shop. I work a full time corp job in addition to this. It's extremely doable to own this biz as a side hustle.

I typically make a weekly run to a thrift store, a monthly run to an estate sale for glass. I run pickup axe target boards about once per quarter. Occasionally I fix something at the shop like a broken door, a PC acting up, etc. That is the extend of my involvement inside the shop. I have the ability to handle all the admin remotely which takes about 15 minutes every other Monday for payroll. I generally order supplies twice a month. We have a management meeting once a month so I can keep up with what all is going on and to discuss any promos or events in the near future with staff. Most things like point of sale system, lights, cameras, thermostats, alarm system, etc. are all accessible with an app(s) I have on my phone. I can check on most anything at any time.

My wife does all of our graphics work, making flyers, posters, etc. The only marketing we do is running a few ads on FB. That isn't really a marketing strategy but I'm not a marketer and have no idea what I'm doing in that regard. We have a ton of existing capacity to service more customers,I just don't know how to market to them. We're doing ok with our current strategy but could do so much more with a better strategy. Due to life circumstances I don't have time to teach myself marketing. I'd rather sell the business to someone that can take it to the next level.

We host a large number of parties and corporate events. I think doubling down on these is how the business really grows. We are the only rage room well suited for events. We've even had music videos shot in our shop on multiple occasions. We have 72 seats but I've never seen a single party where everyone is sitting down. You don't have a party at our place if you're looking to spend 2 hours in a seat. We are built so teams can interact with everyone, not just the person sitting to your left/right. Corporate leaders love our place. Plus we let them use the 90" TV for presentations, etc.

We don't have a kitchen but offer food. Think concession stand at a ballgame. We have a decent selection of beers, ciders, seltzers, wine coolers, etc. No liquor license so no bourbon or whiskey. We partner with catering companies for events. We offer the ability to have a complete, turn key party. We handle everything and our guests love that part. They show up, have fun, and leave. We handle every aspect for them.

Facilities & Assets
We have 4 computerized lanes, 2 rage rooms, 1 pool table, and 2 dart lanes, Nintendo on a big screens, food, and a bar. We also have several TVs around the shop. In addition we have several custom made bars, benches, tables, table top games, and everything else needed to run an entertainment business.
Market Outlook / Competition
There is one other axe throwing venue in town. However, there are no other smash rooms in town. To be honest, there are only 5 rage rooms in the State of TN. Our closest rage room competition is about an hour away.
Opportunities for Growth
We are poised to be able to grow. We currently have the capacity to nearly double our business without adding anything other than some labor. I need to hire a sales person but am not sure how. As an engineer, I solve problems with data not creativity. I don't know how to market. This is my biggest problem. I've dialed the biz in to have about a 25% profit margin. The next hurdle is crack to code for marketing to corporate events. It would also be easy to expand into more themed parties. A person could transition one of the rage rooms or axe lanes to a splatter room as well without much input. There is also the option to bring in a mobile rage room option as well. Some good at marketing could easily double the business in 12-18 months.
