Business Description
A home security brand selling safes disguised as ordinary household fittings: a working wall outlet, an air vent cover, a floating shelf, a side table. The thief who never finds the safe never gets to attack it, and that idea has carried the business to $4.31m of cumulative sales and $820,450 of cumulative owner earnings since August 2021.

Trading runs across ten Amazon marketplaces in Europe and North America, plus two Shopify storefronts and eBay. Amazon carries 98.2% of sales, split $551,085 Europe and $384,599 US in the twelve months to 31 July 2026.

Financials (USD, twelve months to 31 July 2026, against the prior twelve)
Total sales $953,065 against $1,134,798
Gross profit $290,145 against $293,209
Gross margin 30.44% against 25.84%
SDE $173,795 against $201,878
SDE margin 18.24% against 17.79%

Revenue fell 16%. Gross profit fell 1%. The gap between those two numbers is the year.

Between June and October 2025 the business produced $32,893 of SDE across five months, and those months sit inside the trailing twelve. It was buying revenue: October 2025 sold $89,693 with advertising at 19.4% of sales and returned $4,361 of SDE, a 4.9% margin.

The owners acted on that in October and November 2025. Prices went up, promotional discounting fell from $58,260 across the prior twelve months to $24,675 in the current twelve, and advertising came back under control at around 9.55% of sales from February to July 2026. Unprofitable volume was allowed to go.

The effect is visible in the monthly numbers. Across the eight months from December 2025 to July 2026, SDE totalled $139,538, an average of $17,442 a month against a twelve month average of $14,483. April 2026 sold $67,899, 24% less revenue than October 2025, and returned $16,054, close to four times the earnings.

The seven months from January to July is the cleanest like for like comparison, covering the same seasonal shape in both years and sitting entirely after the reset:
Total sales $542,461 against $596,360, down 9.0%
Gross profit $181,304 against $153,335, up 18.2%
SDE $126,726 against $102,740, up 23.3%
SDE margin 23.4% against 17.2%

Seasonality has been consistent across five years. Q4 and Q1 are the strongest quarters, spring and summer the weakest, and the four months from October carry a disproportionate share of the year's earnings.

What a buyer should diligence
Amazon carries 98.2% of sales, so a buyer takes platform risk in full. Revenue has fallen two years running, part of it deliberate as unprofitable promotional volume was withdrawn while gross profit held flat. Advertising is the swing variable and whoever takes this on inherits that lever. The operations software was built by one person; the source, repository and deployment pipeline transfer on completion, but there is no second engineer who knows the codebase.

The business trades through a Polish company and its US subsidiary. It can be conveyed as a share sale of the parent or as an asset sale from each entity, and the two routes differ materially on tax, assumed liabilities and buyer financing.

Inventory is sold separately at cost. A full prospectus and a 24 month recast profit and loss are available to qualified buyers under NDA.

Facilities & Assets
No premises. Production splits between a Polish partner handling precision components and European assembly, and a Chinese partner covering moulds and volume runs. Both sit under NNN agreements and both transfer. The moulds are owned by the business rather than the manufacturer, so production can move without retooling.

IP covers registered word marks in the EU, US and China, six registered Community designs at EUIPO and two granted US design patents.

The sale includes a custom operating system built in-house this year. It holds every SKU, purchase order and supplier record, imports stock data from the Amazon Selling Partner API and Sellerboard, tracks consignments from factory to fulfilment centre, generates shipping plans and labels, reads supplier and freight emails into the system, produces a cash flow model reconciled to bank statements with EU VAT and OSS returns, and drafts customer service replies. Estimated to remove 70% of previous operations time.
Market Outlook / Competition
Traditional safe manufacturers sell visible strength: heavy boxes, bolted down, obviously containing something. Budget concealment products exist but tend to be gimmicks with no meaningful lock and no design protection. This business sits between the two, and has held that position long enough to build the two assets that matter on Amazon: search position and review depth. More than 2,000 ratings have accumulated across the range, and the US listings carry 4.4 stars on every core product.

Purchases are problem-driven. Someone buys a concealed safe because they have thought about being burgled, which makes demand resilient to discounting and largely insulated from fashion. The customer arrives through search with intent, which is why premium prices have held through falling volume without the loss of ranking positions.

Buyers are homeowners rather than renters, since most of the range is fitted into a wall. Germany has been the strongest market for five years, then the US.
Opportunities for Growth
Each of these is something the business already has and has chosen not to work.

Release the capital held in stock. Inventory at 31 July 2026 was roughly six months of cover, heavier than the trading pattern requires outside the Q4 build.

Restore the direct channels. The European storefront traded at more than double its current level a year ago, on a site already handling 23 countries, three languages and the full European payment stack. Turning traffic back on is a matter of spend.

Work the two 2026 product launches. Both are live with almost no review depth behind them.

The United Kingdom. Amazon UK is not among the ten marketplaces traded, despite European certification already held. Three products need no modification and could list immediately.

TikTok Shop. A concealed safe reveals itself in three seconds of video, which is what the platform rewards. A US presence exists and has never been worked.

Retail and trade, where the German certification opens the conversation.
About the Sale
Seller Motivation
Owners moving into a new phase of life.
Transition Support
The owners will support handover of the marketplace accounts, the supplier relationships and the operating system.

The software transfers as a private GitHub repository with the full source and deployment pipeline, together with the hosting environment, or it can be redeployed to the buyer's own infrastructure. It was written in-house and is owned outright, with no third-party code claims over it. Guided tours are built into the software module by module, and a video walkthrough of each module is provided at handover.

Running cost is a VPS at roughly EUR 80 a year. The one ongoing third-party cost attached to it is an active Sellerboard subscription for the stock import.

The staff role the business carried through the twelve months, at a cost of $9,206, was removed at the end of August 2026 and absorbed by that automation, so none of it recurs for a buyer.
