9 FedEx Ground Pick-up & Delivery routes available in premiere densely populated business and residential neighborhoods in the defined market area. Drivers only drive 55-60 miles per day with all routes contiguous, which eliminates excessive wear & tear on the vehicles. Strong management team in place to completely run the business. This can be semi or fully absentee with the structure we have in place. Our ability to effectively recruit and establish the right culture has enabled us to build a team of solid consistent drivers, which love what they do. This is showcased by the fact that 70% of our drivers have been with us at least 2 years, with 36% being on board for 5+ years! This business can be operated out of your home with no required office, garage or lease space for the vehicles. They are housed at the FedEx Terminal. FedEx pays the contractors on a weekly basis which is determined by the number of stops, pick-ups, branding of trucks featuring FedEx logos, customer service level achievement and performance safety bonuses. FedEx also pays additionally for all this criteria at a greater level during their "peak" delivery time from Thanksgiving through New Years. All these components are clearly defined in the FedEx Contract.
