Business Description

This business organizes and sponsors conferences for professionals working with general education students, special needs students, students with learning differences, English Language Learners, and at-risk students in public and private schools, private practices, hospitals, outpatient clinics, home health, and other educational settings. The conferences provide numerous opportunities for professionals to acquire new information and ideas to work collaboratively to meet the needs of all individuals aged Pre-K to 21 years. Participants have the opportunity to hear nationally and internationally recognized speakers on a variety of general education and special education topics.

Conferences are currently held twice a year. Ownership is strategically planning for adding a third conference in a new state to facilitate increased revenue, profitability, and market share.

A virtual business model that could be run from any corporate location. Current part-time staff include an IT coordinator as well as an administrative assistant. Forty plus volunteers help with each conference and the business uses convention center staff as temps onsite.
