Short Load Concrete Delivery- $650 gross profit per delivery! Simple
Business Description
Somewhat hesitantly listing A-Plus Concrete Short Load Concrete Delivery Business for sale.
Has been in business for 20+ years serving Western CT, originally out of Danbury area. Wholesale accounts set up with large suppliers to purchase concrete from and get loaded into the trailer. We pick up from the big plants, mark up the material and deliver it. No need for commercial shop space, industrial land to mix concrete, etc.
Sale includes 2019 Mix Right 3 yard mixer for sale, 2022 ish Muck Truck Power buggy, website, google my business listing, customer list and contacts for the 2 years I have owned it & phone number that has been with the business for over 20 years.
2024 Ram 2500 Cummins (26k miles) with full company wrap also available but not included in price.
Both homeowners and contractors love using us as we are on time, easy to schedule and give 1 hour free unload time unlike the “big guys” who are often booked out, in a rush or simply refuse to deliver small loads of concrete which there is a real demand for. We provide good, small business service. Everyone stares at the setup too.
Original owner was making around 80-120k per year as an owner operator about 80% delivery, some small jobs subcontracting the finishing work.
Although I love the business model, I don’t have the staff or expertise to take this to where it needs to go.
I turn down a good amount of work where people are looking for small jobs start to finish. The power buggy has worked out well for backyards and such. I give people 1 hour free unload time as where the big companies want to give minutes.
Still love the business model but I think it would vertically integrate better with a landscaper, mason, material supply business, dumpster business, contractor etc. who can save $ on material for their own jobs, also run the business offering delivery AND sell small jobs start to finish.
Priced at equipment value + something for the 20+ years in business but not much. I understand as a small owner operated business it’s not going to sell at a huge multiple and that’s okay. Trailer alone is $50k+ new, muck truck $6k new.
If interested in talking some more feel free to reach out, will be operating until I find the right buyer ??
