Business Description
Only Sports Bar for Cricket Fans in the U.S.
We are the only sports bar for cricket fans in the United States. We do not only show cricket, but we always show cricket. We have enough TVs to show a variety of sports concurrently, but one of those TVs is always tuned to cricket.

We are well known for food quality, as can be seen by positive posts on Yelp, Google Business, and the 18k member facebook group of the neighborhood we’re in.

Our gross revenue might seem low, but we have only begun and sales have been improving over time. As of this writing, we have been in business for 13 full calendar months. To compare the only Year over Year we can, Sales for June 2026 were $32,949.40 compared to $7,984.40 June the prior year. An increase of 312.7%.

Our sales from our opening on May 30th 2025 through the calendar year were $71,388.11. Our sales from January 1st 2026 through July 8th 2026 were $128,043.61. An increase of 79.36%. Though that example uses different months of the year, that increase is in spite of the latter segment including fewer days.

We have a Full-Service Liquor License from the OLCC that also permits minors at all hours of operation, a Multnomah County Health Department License for Food Sales, and an Oregon Department of Agriculture Hemp Program License, all paid in full for the year.

A roughly $5,000 insurance premium has been paid in full that covers property, liquor liability, general liability, etc. through March of 2027.

We do three weekly events: Drag bingo on Wednesdays, Trivia on Thursdays, and Game Night on Sundays.

We have also done Anime watch nights and karaoke in the past. Those can be started up again with ease, and we own a good amount of hardware for karaoke.

There are only two other ongoing vendor contracts beyond the lease: Sureclean Solutions for dishwasher lease and maintenance and Toast for POS. Toast has been paid already for hardware and onboarding, with their monthly software fee discounted.

We also have sponsorships with the Portland Pickles, Portland Australian Football Club, University of Portland, Women’s Rugby Club, and Timbers Pub Partner (which includes Apple TV). All of these have been paid and include some sponsor benefits in the future that have yet to be exercised. Also, not a formal arrangement, but we’ve arranged special event hours for staff from Nike’s cricket division to watch tournament matches. For broader marketing, we have Spothopper paid through the calendar year, which is mostly website design and development, but also has built-in social media and email newsletter features.

There is 0 debt. No restricted shares, notes, warrants, liens etc. The business is a single-owner LLC that has been funded exclusively from revenue and my personal wealth. There are no lawsuits the company is involved in. The entire company can transfer cleanly to you or your partnership group.

Many other listings offer seller financing. That is unnecessary when all you need is $1 to begin. You can put any money you were considering using to purchase the business into operating and improving the business. And you won’t need to take out a loan you have to pay interest on before you can even start selling food and drinks.

Market Outlook / Competition
There are some other bars nearby, but we are the only sports bar for cricket fans in the United States. We also show a good amount of soccer and rugby, along with some mainstream American sports as customers expressed that there aren’t many other places to watch sports nearby. We’ve been showing more women’s sports recently, and have had good turnouts for Fire and Thorns games.
Opportunities for Growth
The biggest opportunity is improving food preparation efficiency. We’ve already stopped accepting online ordering or even people calling for takeout in order to reduce the wait times for those in the bar.

A lot of people have been coming out to watch the World Cup recently. Next year, we’ll have the Women’s World Cup, which should bring out even more people as the U.S. Women’s team is expected to make it further in the series.

Though World Cup fans have overshadowed them quite a bit this summer, Major League Cricket just finished its fourth season. And it is expanding with two new teams in 2027. The Seattle Orcas are aware of our existence and have been gracious in donating merch and including us at events. Cricket will also be returning to the Olympics in 2028, which will introduce the game to many more Americans not in diaspora communities. They recently built a new stadium in Pomona, California for these Olympic events that also serves as the LA Knight Riders home field.
About the Sale
Seller Motivation
I’m worn out and lack experience. Someone else can do this better.
Transition Support
I’ll provide at least a month of transition support. And I’m open to whatever you want to put in writing affirming specific instructions you’ll receive. But I’ll likely give you more than the minimum put in writing because I want this business to succeed. It’s usually difficult to remember every account that needs to be transferred, and I’ll make myself available for things that come up outside the transition window. And though this royalty agreement is odd, it gives the buyer the added benefit of having me care about the long-term future of the company rather than just dumping a hot potato on you. I wouldn’t seek a percentage of future sales if I did not believe that this company has a future.
