Café de Havana in Cocoa Village opened its doors on October 1, 2022. Since it’s opening, the café has been widely adored by locals, snowbirds, visitors, and tourists. These raving fans have awarded a 5-star Google rating since day one!
The menu includes a variety of Cuban sandwiches, with the most popular being the El Cubano. The El Cubano Cuban sandwich put Café de Havana in the spotlight in just under a year of being in business, receiving recognition from multiple online sites and two local newspapers. They for have been awarded Top 10 Cuban sandwich in Brevard County and the State of Florida. In addition to our Cuban sandwiches, we also serve Cuban coffee, smoothies, milkshakes, pastries, and other savory items which are made daily.
What makes us unique from other Cuban cafes is simply two things: 1) We make AMAZING homemade Cuban food and 2) the location in Cocoa Village is incredible. We have the best corner located in the Biergarten, very cozy, tropical environment, and Cuban Jazz played on the radio, and let’s not forget the views to the Banana River, across from the park.
The Cocoa Village ongoing events consist of concerts, wine walks, arts and craft events, car shows, yoga groups, parades and so much more.
In 2025, the new ownership and new best practices in place have shown significant results. The expansion to 7 days, consistent social media postings, joining the Cocoa Village Main street events, expanding to a consistent dinner shift, have/will lead to continued and increased sales and profits success. Additionally, staying open for the late night music acts of the Biergarten is another opportunity to add great sales when their kitchen closes for the night.
