Facilities & Assets
$30,000+/- inventory knives and swords this changes show to show, and could cause price to change. 5x8 trailer tent 10x20 usable, 10x10 like new, 15x21 pavilion older but in good condition, tables, 5 custom built sword racks, tablecloths, additional grid wall for more racking.
Market Outlook / Competition
Market is very good, I got rid of the independent contractors this year and after 5 weekends the profits have at least tripled over all of 2025 . The problem is I haven't done a show for a month and my body still is sore. My next run is 3 weeks then in Sept, 7 weekends,
I have 2 real competitors on my circuit the first is small compared to me and we work together, if one of us doesn't have what the customer wants we send him the other.
The second is in my opinion a know it all who I don't personally trust, we are socialable , but that is it. The first competitor I believe has the same opinion.
There are a bunch of venders that come in with other lines and try to sell blades on the side. They take maybe $800 a weekend out of all three of our pockets, not enough to hurt us.
Opportunities for Growth
I'm currently doing 12-15 weekends but with a few phone call p to could raise it up to 25. If new owner wants to go south in the winter I most likely could get him/her up to 33 weekends. Currently we do Renaissance Faires, and Irish fests, but have in the past I've done Scottish Highland Games, gun shows, anime cons, comic cons, knife shows, rodeos, and many more venues.
About the Sale
Seller Motivation
I'm 75 years old and my health just won't let me do this every week
Transition Support
Would like to keep 10% ownership for 3 years possibly longer for the following reasons: First when I leave all my discounts from US importers go away this is 20-33% off wholesale.
Second the booths that I have at the shows are all good locations that took years to get, again when I leave new owner gets stuck in the back and has to start over, when I do leave the new owner will be established and should be able to stay in the better location.
Third and most important this is my baby and I want it to succeed, I will do everything, except put money in after the sale, to make sure the new owner succeeds. Contacts, how to negotiate with oversea contacts.
Financing Options
May consider owner partial financing
