Market Outlook / Competition
It's a strong market with the online presence growing very well year over year. From all the businesses I was involved with, this has the strongest brand loyalty and rabid fan-dom. People simply love the product and the fact that they are made in-house. The overall market really is leaning toward 'clean' products vs. all the chemicals sold in store brands. Kid parties are really big and continue to do well. So it's truly a multi-channel income business.
Opportunities for Growth
As far as growth opportunities, if you choose to be hands-on, there are many events and community outreach opportunities that can help grow the business. Fall festivals in school, corporate events, hospital (nurse) outreach programs and corp just opened up wholesaling as something we can do. Opportunities also are increasing per basket sizes and increasing sales within. It's a good business as is and can be even better with that hands-on involvement.
