- There is no local competition. Our vendors will not allow another competitor in the area. We do lose some sales in Grand County to Home Depot, but they are over 1.5 hours away. In these smaller communities, customers are extremely faithful and will shop local. In Steamboat, there is no competition and none of the box stores deliver or install appliances there.
- Opportunities for Growth
- There are several growth opportunities we have not taken advantage of. Pursuing mattress sales to all of the hotels, resorts, condo associations. We have started expanding to Steamboat. I would recommend looking at appliance repair and this area is growing quickly. Granby Ranch (smaller ski resort in Granby) is slotted to build at least 4,000 new homes, there is a new development going in Tabernash near Devils Thumb Guest Ranch, Grand Park is building around 5,000 new homes in Fraser, and the town of Winter Park and the Winter Park resort is growing
