Business Description
Operational Business Ready For A New Captain
I built this fence business as a side project while working on other ventures. Now I’m selling it so I can put my attention into those businesses.

If you’ve been thinking about starting a fence company, or adding fencing to your existing contracting business, here’s a chance to take over what I’ve already built.

The truck. The tools. The website. The marketing. The quoting software. The sales process. The installation procedures.

All included.

The business operated in Polk County, Florida, and is relocatable. Continue serving that area or move the equipment and operating setup to your own market.

Established in April 2024, the business generated $185,942 in 2025 revenue, on a cash basis. I operated it part-time, with approximately 10–20 hours of owner attention per week, alongside my other ventures.

I build my own very professional quoting and proposal software to be able to quote and present the lead a proposal on the spot. That software is included in the sale as well.

WHAT YOU GET

The sale includes
• 2020 Chevrolet Silverado WT and 16-foot trailer.
• Electric auger with four bit sizes and extension.
• Impact drills, hammer drills, circular saws, reciprocating saw, table saw, grinders, sander and chainsaw.
• Two nail guns, air compressor and hoses.
• Post-hole diggers, breaker bar, shovels, levels, measuring wheel and 300-foot tape.
• Chain-link stretchers, tension tools, tractor jack, hog-ring pliers, bolt cutters, rivet gun, jigs and assorted hand tools.

You also get the business infrastructure:
• Business name, domain, website, phone, email, social media and business profiles.
• CRM with lead tracking, follow-up workflows and AI-assisted lead response and qualification.
• Custom quoting software with material calculations, labor estimates, pricing and fence layouts.
• Customer proposal generation and electronic approval tools.
• Project photos and videos, advertising creative, design templates, brochures and sales handouts.
• Sales scripts, forms, templates and eligible historical customer records.
• Crew operating procedures covering job preparation, roles, installation sequence, quality checks and closeout.
• Supplier and subcontractor introductions, material catalog and purchasing knowledge.

HOW THE BUSINESS RUNS

I built the operation to be straightforward to manage.
A lead comes in. The CRM helps organize the inquiry and follow-up. You scope the project, prepare the quote and get approval. Materials are ordered for that job and delivered directly to the jobsite. The crew installs, and you oversee scheduling, communication and quality.

That keeps storage needs and overhead low. The quoting app helps with calculations and proposals. The documented procedures give crews clear instructions.

It’s a turnkey setup for an involved owner. My part-time schedule reflects how I operated it; your hours will depend on job volume, staffing and how much work you handle yourself.

WHY I’M SELLING

My attention is going toward technology and my other ventures. I’d like to hand this business to someone who wants to give it consistent attention.

An installer ready to become an owner. A contractor with crews already in place. Or someone who wants an established setup and is prepared to learn the operation.

There are practical ways to expand: consistent sales follow-up, additional crews, neighboring service areas, referral partnerships, repairs, staining and sealing, or commercial fencing.

I’LL SHOW YOU HOW IT WORKS

Included are 70 hours of scheduled training and transition support during the first 90 days after closing, covering the software, sales process, material ordering, operating procedures and key introductions.

ASKING $100,000. SERIOUS OFFERS CONSIDERED. NO SELLER FINANCING. HIGHLY MOTIVATED.

Market Outlook / Competition
There are a number of fence contractors in the area, and to set yourself apart you must understand how they operate. Most companies that are too big don't care about client service, churn through the clients, and have huge overhead which make them expensive. The smaller companies have better prices, but they are unprofessional and don't know how to deal with clients. The best way to set yourself apart is through client service and quality of installation.
Opportunities for Growth
I see room to expand beyond Polk County into nearby markets along the Tampa-Orlando corridor. Polk’s population grew 20.7% from 2020 to 2025, adding households that may need privacy, pet containment and backyard improvements. Existing homes also offer opportunities for fence replacement and repairs.

A buyer could add wood-fence staining and sealing, gate repairs, automated gate systems, pool safety fencing and commercial or agricultural fencing,

Many homeowners ask for other home improvement services like gutters, screen enclosures, siding, landscaping, irrigation etc.

Other opportunities include partnerships with realtors and other contractors for referrals. Paired with expanding into other services there is tremendous growth opportunities for the buyer
