Facilities & Assets
A unique blend of studio and boutique, in a bright 2500 sq ft space. Known for the peaceful and natural aesthetic, we are constantly complimented on the beauty of the space. Customers appreciate the quality goods that we offer as well as the opportunity for creative growth available through our workshop offerings. Lots of parking is available in front of the shop and in nearby lots. The building was newly remodeled when we moved in three years ago. We have the best landlord and are currently operating under a one year lease that auto renews each year.
Market Outlook / Competition
Located right off the main St of downtown, amidst many restaurant's, galleries and shops we are in the perfect location, yet unique in our blend of products and workshops offered. There are no other shops in town that carry our blend of quality women's clothing, new (not used) baby clothing, blankets and toys, creative and natural children's toys and creative kits, and quality handmade goods. Many of our customers appreciate our selection of organic goods, natural fibers and Waldorf inspired children's goods.
Opportunities for Growth
A few main areas of expansion would be:
1. Offer more classes, especially children's classes. There is high demand, roster of instructors, existing registration with charter schools, and email list. I don't have the time or energy to fulfill the demand.
2. Permanent Jewelry. This could be expanded through marketing!
3. Since our jewelry studio (a separate business not included in the sale) takes up about 200 sq ft, you would be able to expand retail offerings.
4. Offer more sales in the shop or fun events to draw in business(i.e. sip and shop nights)

Transition Support
This business would be ideal for an owner/operator who loves community and artistic endeavers. The business is well established in the local artisan community. I have 3 trained employees if a new owner wants shop coverage, but their wages are not deducted from the SDE. Open to negotiations on support needed to transfer the business to the new owner.
