The One Price Model:
Our one-price model provides pricing transparency and consistency so that every customer knows that any single item they bring in to be dry cleaned will be cleaned for one standard price --currently $2.79 in the Chicago area. Unlike most other dry cleaners, we charge the same prices for men's and women's garments and if our customers drop off by 10:00am, our same day service policy means their garments will be cleaned, pressed and ready by 5:00pm--at no extra charge! We are able to deliver those savings and that level of service because we have created a business model that is highly efficient and capable of delivering the quality customers expect from their dry cleaner. At CD One, our no surprises, value-oriented pricing strategy resonates with customers providing the transparency customers want from their dry cleaner.
We offer an outstanding value to our customers at a time when "value" has become more important. According to a survey by the Blackstone Group in September 2012 of other dry cleaners in the areas around our stores, most customers can save an average of 66% on their drycleaning costs compared to traditional dry cleaners. We provide an outstanding customer experience that is perceived to be a great value and this has allowed us to build market share by attracting customers from other higher priced, traditional drycleaners over time.
Initial Training.We offer an extensive 5 week initial training program and teach you everything you need to know. No prior dry cleaning and laundry experience is required.
Ongoing operational support. You will establish a strong relationship with your District Manager who will support you and share system-wide best practices to help you operate your business effectively.
Regional and local Store Marketing. We provide marketing support program designed to help you get and keep the best customers.
Buying power. We negotiate with vendors with the strength of a multi-unit system for all the supplies and other services and products you need to support your business.
Our franchisees come from a wide variety of backgrounds including franchisees from other franchise systems, but we have many couples who purchased CD One Price Cleaners stores as their first business opportunity because of the great support systems we provide. We know that our program is successful, because we have several franchisees who own more than one CD One store.
