Boston, ma, July 15, 2009: Koko FitClub, LLC, the technology company that is reinventing the fitness franchise business, today announced that Michael Ander LLC, DBA Koko FitClub, has signed a multi-unit, area development agreement to operate Koko FitClubs in New Jersey and New York City. The first two Koko FitClub locations are expected to open in Jersey City by November. This agreement follows closely on the heels of Koko FitClubs recent award of area development rights for the Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma territories.
Michael Ander, the President of Michael Ander LLC, has a background in information technology and operations. At Cornell University Ander earned both an undergraduate and two Masters Degrees (one in Public Administration and one in Business Administration). He began his technology career working for four years in network design and support and systems integration while at Cornell. After receiving his graduate degrees he continued in IT at investor research firm, Innovest Strategic Value Advisors, where he rose to become Director of Operations. A New Jersey native and Manhattan resident, Michael is also a touring musician as the lead singer and songwriter for Tactylics, a funk rock band.
