LOS ANGELES, Dec. 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --PickUp USA Fitness , headquartered in Los Angeles, CA, announced today that they have awarded a new franchise location in Charlottesville, VA. This marks the first location on the East Coast for the fast-growing fitness club chain, and joins the list of PickUp USA gyms currently open or in development in Arizona, California, and Texas.
Founded in 2011, PickUpUSA gymsare full-service fitness clubs with a focus on basketball. Their clubs offer group and private basketball training, weight and cardio rooms, lounges, locker rooms, retail merchandise, and the company's main attraction pickup basketball with referees.

PickUp USA is anticipating accelerated growth for next year, projecting a total of 17 locations by the end of 2017. The company has franchise territories available in 38 states, and is actively expanding across the country.

The Charlottesville location is expected to open in the late Spring of 2017.
