HONOLULU, HI (April 23, 2014) Teddy's Bigger Burgers has reached deep in the heart of Texas. The humble, Hawaii-grown business serving handmade, 100-percent ground chuck patties in a lively 50s diner theme just announced the sale of the first two franchise agreements in Texas. The first store is currently under development in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1998, Teddy's has consistently served its award-winning burgers, charbroiled and topped with fresh, unique selections. Their famous, five-scoops-of-ice-cream Extra Thick Shakes are beloved across the island. In addition, Teddy's caters to everyone, serving turkey, chicken or veggie burgers, fish or pastrami sandwiches and salads.
And this is only the beginning. The founders of Teddy's will be awarding more franchised stores in Texas as the chain continues its expansion across the U.S. In Hawaii, the most recent Teddy's location just celebrated its grand opening in the Kapolei Village Shopping Center. Teddy's already has locations open in Washington and Iowa, and soon, California. "We're thrilled to know that we can serve people in Texas with the top-notch quality of Teddy's burgers," says co-founder Ted Tsakiris.
Teddy's Bigger Burgers franchises are currently available in all territories domestic and select international markets. Territories are being awarded now to qualified franchise prospects. Please visit teddysbiggerburgers.com for information about opening a franchise in your neighborhood.
The Teddy's brand is built on the premise of a fun, 50s style, high-energy burger joint that features 100 percent ground chuck flame-broiled burgers, old-fashioned extra thick shakes, consistently excellent customer service, unique local flavors and custom concoctions in every franchise. Teddy's currently operates 11 locations in Hawaii, one in Japan, and three open in the continental U.S.
