Nearly all of Grocery Outlets 470+ stores are run by local families or teams under an operator agreement with Grocery Outlet. We provide the location, training, products and financing along with a share of the stores profit. You provide the hard work and leadership.
Ideal Candidate
Our ideal Independent Operator Candidates have:
- 4 years of ownership, retail management or multi-unit retail management experience
- Experience overseeing a large team including hiring and training
- Detail-orientated, analytical, ability to think quickly, and extremely results-orientated
- Creative problem-solver
- Experience with merchandising displays
- Interest in autonomy and being able to make your own decisions for your retail store
