This opportunity is designed for a sales-oriented business owner—not someone who wants to install roofs or build a traditional construction company from scratch.
The owner focuses on generating opportunities, conducting in-home sales appointments, building local relationships and managing the customer experience. Roofing installation is completed by qualified production crews using Rain Dog’s pricing, workflow and project-management systems.
Previous roofing experience is not required. Candidates with experience in consultative sales, home improvement, construction management, operations or business development are best positioned for the model.

The Rain Dog model reduces many of the expenses and operational challenges associated with starting an independent roofing company. Owners do not need a warehouse, roofing tools, installation equipment, a large vehicle fleet or full-time roofing crews on payroll.
Owners receive access to Rain Dog’s brand, sales training, pricing tools, CRM systems, vendor relationships, production guidance and ongoing business support.
