Start-Up Description
Imagine running a business where your “storefront” is a reserved table at a great restaurant once a month, your team is a group of 15-20 business owners who actually want to be there, and your job is to be the connector who makes it all work. That's Network In Action.
This is a rare chance to buy 1, 2, or 3 untethered NIA franchise territories at a meaningful discount to what the franchisor charges directly, in Arizona, Florida, or Colorado, three of the most active small-business markets in the country. You're not building this from scratch: you're stepping into a proven, 15-year system with corporate training, technology, and marketing support already built for you.
What Makes This Different From a Typical Small Business:
There's no lease, no buildout, no inventory, no staff to hire or fire. You run it from home, and the entire operating model is built around one 90-minute meeting per group, per month. Compare that to the weekly breakfast commitment most networking groups demand, and it's easy to see why NIA's model attracts business owners who are too busy, and too successful, to spend 100+ hours a year on networking. Ongoing costs are essentially a royalty and the cost of coffee.
Who This Is Built For:
This isn't a side hustle for someone chasing passive income with zero involvement, it's a relationship business for someone who genuinely likes people and wants to be known as the person who connects a community. It's an excellent fit for a retired executive or sales leader who misses the relationships but not the grind, a consultant, coach, or realtor looking to add a second income stream and a built-in referral engine to their existing network, a former corporate professional who wants to be their own boss without the risk of building a brand from zero, or an entrepreneur who wants a genuinely part-time business, most owners run this in 5-10 hours a week, that still has real, recurring revenue.
The Upside for a Buyer Who Scales:
Buy one group and grow it, or buy two or three and build a real portfolio from day one, the franchisor's own performance data shows revenue scales substantially with each additional group operated. Either way, a buyer is acquiring a head start: a functioning playbook, a support system, and territory rights in growing markets, at a price well below what it costs to acquire the same rights directly from the franchisor.
About the Business
Facilities & Assets
This is a home-based franchise territory, untethered to any fixed location, so there's no real estate, equipment, inventory, or signage included or required. What transfers to the buyer is the franchise agreement itself (territory rights), access to NIA's proprietary technology portal, CRM, V-cards, video interview tool, and automated review software, the training manuals and materials, and the seller's completed onboarding paperwork with the franchisor. No employees come with the business, since NIA is designed as a single owner-operator model.
Market Outlook / Competition
Per NIA's FDD, the referral and business networking market is well developed and competitive; franchisees compete with a range of local, regional, and national networking organizations on price, service, location, and quality. NIA's differentiator is its monthly, 90-minute meeting format (versus the weekly breakfast model used by most competitors), which opens up a segment of established, time-constrained business owners who won't commit to weekly meetings. Territories are not exclusive under the franchise agreement, so a buyer should confirm current market saturation with the franchisor before selecting a launch territory.
About the Sale
Transition Support
The buyer receives NIA's full initial training program, currently 38 classroom hours covering new member sales, marketing, technology, and monthly meeting facilitation, delivered online through the corporate portal. This is followed by an 8-week "Lift-Off" onboarding program, plus roughly three additional virtual training sessions per year going forward. On an ongoing basis, corporate reviews and approves all marketing materials, conducts background and compatibility screening for every prospective member, provides the monthly meeting agendas and content, maintains the technology platform, and offers periodic guidance on marketing, management, and operations. Additional on-site training is available for a per-diem fee if requested.
