This is a super easy business and a great way to reach out to the community to offer a service that is one of a kind. All the ground work is done. I loved molding this from a block of clay into a simple, and well thoughout, business that is extremely scalable. Its a smarter approach to a seamingly unchanged sport, informative while being tolerant to naysayers. Why? Heres the thing. There is every walk of life playing this sport, everyday of the week in the US. Some 50 million people play this sport regularly and most never heard of term, tribology. So why isnt everyone jumping to the opportunity to have their clubs cleaned? Its because no one ever thought to do it not even a kid selling whos commision relies on the $5k clubs you're about to buy and not to mention the entire golf club manufacturing business that LOVES the fact that no one maintains their clubs properly. If I have a knive and I cant cut my meat, it needs to be carefully maintained, regularly. If I'm approaching a hole and my rollout isnt the same or as predictable as the last round of golf, would you want to know why or how to prevent NOT knowing in the future?
At its core, this is a fully mobile, golf club cleaning service. Thats not all though. We have the abilioty to scan the club face and get metrology level measurements via report to ensure that the clubface is within USGA standards. There is a reason WHY they exist. Bad grooves = bad rollout and loss of control. Our eyes cant possibly see what is happening at a sub-millimeter POV. So we finish a round, throw our clubs in the trunk of our cars banging them against eachother like its no big deal and/or hand it off to a 14 yr old to wipe them down with a silly towel; this is called cleaning? LOL
Speaking of which, all the science in the world cant change everyone minds but out of 50 million people...how many are you willing to bet will listen? A college student on scholarship? YES! A hopeful high school student trying to get into USC? YEP! A junior PGA? Heck, yes. Every stroke counts...period.
